What We Do
We utilize a variety of musical and artistic expression for the glorification of God and to cause people to draw closer to the Lord. The department provides music for special events and includes the Adult Praise and Worship Teams, Youth Praise and Worship Teams (i.e., The EDGE), and the Children’s Choir. Members of the Adult Praise and Worship Teams minister during services and other events at POLR. The Youth Praise and Worship Teams provide music for The EDGE services and concerts, and combines with members of the Adult Praise and Worship Teams for special events, including concerts for the community and church and recording projects.

Prospective Department Members
Prospective Department members (vocalists and musicians) must complete an application form and schedule an interview during which the applicant will audition. Auditions are held twice each year. Note that successful applicants must commit to at least a six month term with the Department.
